Lindau
Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 August 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Lindau services, including VPS, dedicated servers, and domain registration. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by users you invite as Financial, Technical, Domain, or Support contacts.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to open an account.
2. Services and provisioning
VPS and domain orders are typically provisioned within minutes of successful payment or admin activation. Dedicated server provisioning times vary by configuration and may require manual approval.
We may suspend or terminate any service used in violation of these terms, applicable law, or our Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Payments and renewals
Recurring services are billed in advance for the selected term. Invoices may be paid from your wallet balance or by other accepted methods.
Failure to pay an invoice by its due date may result in suspension and, after a grace period, termination of the service and loss of associated data.
Domain registrations follow registry policies and, once registered, are generally non-refundable.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Lindau services to send unsolicited bulk email, host malware or phishing content, conduct denial-of-service attacks, infringe intellectual property, or distribute illegal content.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take action including content removal, suspension, or termination.
5. Service levels and availability
We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced in advance where practical.
6. Data and backups
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of data stored on your services. We are not liable for data loss resulting from your actions, software failures, or service termination.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lindau's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services is limited to the fees paid by you for the affected service in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via your dashboard. Continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Refunds, cancellation, and disputes
The Refund and Cancellation Policy, Payment Policy, and Service Delivery Policy form part of these Terms. They are presented before payment and govern cancellation, withdrawal, delivery, refund timing, duplicate payments, and dispute handling.
Mandatory consumer rights cannot be waived. Contact support first where practical, without losing any lawful right to contact a payment provider, consumer authority, Enamad complaint service, or court.
10. Merchant identity and contract records
The supplier's trading name, registered identity, address, registration details, and customer-service channels are published on the Contact and complaints page. The product description and final invoice form part of the contract.
We retain order, invoice, policy-acceptance, payment-confirmation, delivery, and support records as reasonably needed to perform the contract, meet legal duties, and resolve disputes.
11. Contact
Questions, cancellation requests, and complaints can be sent through any channel on the Contact and complaints page. Include your account email and order or invoice number.
